Even though my Film Negative Tutorial has been updated, the samples have not. The sample images show some of the effects you can achieve, but do not have the revised film negative frame.
This last one is a mask!
I saved the basic negative as a mask. Then I applied the mask on a new layer in my photo. I resized the photo to be the same size as the mask. Otherwise, the mask would stretch.
Putting the mask on its own layer means you can slide the mask around without messing up your graphic beneath it.
